Team Building

Purpose

Teamwork is the opportunity to develop abilities to work together toward a common shared vision. A new ability to direct each members individual accomplishment towards your organizational objectives. The benefits include ordinary individuals who blend together as a team and achieve extraordinary results.

Objectives

Teambuilding Participants will be shown how to:

  • Function more effectively as a team
  • Understand the importance of each individual on the team
  • Set common ground rules to make your team more successful
  • Solve problems in a structured manner
  • Encourage everyone on the team to participate
  • Ways to ask questions instead of making negative comments
  • Be an effective team player
  • Identify each team members role and how to assess performance

Overview

New Rules require New Tools. The demand for LEADERSHIP to emerge, then develop and implement teams with the highest opportunity for success is vital. There is no room to fumble, falter, or fail. You are in an incredibly competitive environment on an uneven playing field with no turn around time left. Focus on the customer is the most effective and direct method to excel, achieve, and thrive. Greater success in these endeavors will be accomplished with Top Team Performance.

Top Team Performance will enable your organization to foster sound and executable strategies that will not allow manpower and other resource waste. Costs cannot be inflated to cover gaps. Consistent quality, lower costs and high levels of productivity and performance are the mandates. This will only be accomplished with corroboration, collaboration, and working closely together as Top Teams.

Emulating the best commercial practices is not good enough. Streamlined engineering processes with the capability of early awareness of potential problems and examining the total impact of alternatives is critical. The government handicaps have to be compensated for by focused and highly committed teams. Organizations must clearly interact constructively in free and open discussions. To innovate and be the best is imperative. Creating a cooperative "give and take" mode fueled by management willing to apply teaming will give you the edge needed to build a future.

Management has the challenge to insure enthusiastic followers must be focused on the customers with all their personal resources dedicated to outstanding service. This will assure your customers meet and exceed their goals. Your people will realize greater career opportunities and higher levels of job satisfaction through accomplishments that can be achieved through visions and commitment that Top Team Performance provides. Building strong teams is the right solution.

Summary

Experience has shown varying levels of understanding in teaming that require in depth, well prepared explanations.

We answer the critical questions and resolve concerns about top performance teams such as:

  • Why and what they are.
  • How they work and can work for you.
  • How and when to create them.
  • What's the role of the manager or supervisor?
  • What is each team member's role.
  • Who handles performance appraisals and recognition?
  • How to gain support from employees and managers who resist teams.

Outcomes

During this event we will maintain emphasis on open communication so that each participant will learn how to:

  • Communicate more clearly and directly by understanding the Team Communication Process
  • Recognize, accept and respond to the differences in others for team compatibility
  • Communicate effectively under time-pressure when being precise is critical to achieve consensus
  • Stop, think, and listen before responding to avoid assumptions that lead to misunderstanding
  • Take personal responsibility for great teamwork with measurable results
  • Maximize the impact personal values and character have on outstanding teamwork
